For FOREIGN AFFAIRS 2 PROJECT
Five International artist-led art initiatives have collaborated to present each other’s creative art practice. A cross-cultural collaboration that explores the relationship between the artist as curator, as artist. A unique project curating across borders.
SCOTTY shows Bella Easton
Born 1971 Epsom, Surrey | Lives and works in London. Easton is an independent curator, practicing artist and part time teacher of Art & Design. Since 2011, she has presented the work of over 150 artists through curating 30 exhibitions; through running a project/gallery space, in South London; and off-site projects within academic institutions, Art Fairs and public spaces throughout the UK and internationally.
Since graduating from The Royal Academy Schools and previously studying a BA at Winchester School of Art, Easton has continued her own practice as a painter and printmaker, exhibiting in many solo and group shows in the UK, Europe, India and New York. Her own work can be seen here. Over recent years she has been working on curated exhibitions, residencies and off-site projects that are designed to question the nature of both individual and collaborative art production and curating; showcasing the work of emerging talent and providing more established artists with an experimental platform and forum for artistic debate
